Welcome To The On-Line Source For News & Information About Musician Gary Sluhan.

Gary Sluhan has perfected the sounds of various artists from Gordon Lightfoot to Cat Stevens to Sam the Sham and the Pharohs (Little Red Riding Hood) and most notably Jimmy Buffett. He has even been asked more than once if he was Jimmy Buffett. This has happened in Las Vegas, Sanibel Island, St. Petersburg and St. Louis. That is just a part of it, once you hear him perform you can appreciate why people wonder if it is the original artist who did the song. That along with his style will have you reliving the era in which that song was originally recorded.

Gary Sluhan is available for corporate functions, private parties, local venues or whatever you desire. If you are yearning for Jimmy Buffett style music and a good time, you should attend one of his performances. His motto is "I take requests, I just don't play them", which is not the way he is. If you want to hear a song, and Gary knows it, he WILL gladly play it for you.

Check out his Songlist for a complete list of songs he currently performs. More are added from time to time, so check back often to see if your favorite has been added (if it isn't already there). You can also experience a little bit of his music on the Mp3s page, with samplings of his accoustic performance.

Interested in booking Gary for your event? Just check his Schedule to see if the date you are interested in is available, and then go to the Contact page to find out how to get in touch with him to book him for your event.

Well it's a new year and things are starting to book up quickly. I hope everyone had a great holiday, but now it's back to work. Or as I say, another year another chance to meet some great people. I have already added some new venues to the schedule, Coconut's Carribean Beach Bar and Grill at Lake of the Ozarks, Sundowners Resturaunt in St. Charles, and Cottleville Wine Sellers, Cottleville, MO, Palisades Yacht Club in Portage Des Sioux and Jolly Rogers Grub n Grog down at the Lake of the Ozarks not to mention the places I have already been playing. Check the Schedule to find out where I will be and when. For the Lake of the Ozarks this year, I will not be at the Captain's Galley. I apologize to the people who came out last year to see me, but again, check the Schedule and see when and where I will be at the lake. If you would like to be added to my e-mail list, please send me an e-mail and I will add you to it so you can have first hand information on my whereabouts before it even gets posted on my website.

I am holding a raffle again this year for the Bob Costas Cancer Center at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital here in St. Louis in memory of my nephew Derek Sluhan who passed away back in 1999.

This year I will be raffling off two guitars, one electric,a Fender Strat signed by Alice Cooper when he was in
St. Louis, September 23rd. Thank you Ann Sateia, Brian Sateia and Alice Cooper. Click the pictures for a larger look at the Strat.

The second guitar is an Alvarez acoustic signed by the 1970's band POCO, Rusty Young, Paul Cotton, Jack Sundrud, and George Lawrence. Thank you Rusty, Paul, Jack, and George. Click the pictures for a larger look at the Alvarez.

These guitars will be with me at every public performance.
